So, about this new year funk...

I’m typically very ambitious and have all of my plans ready to go before the new year begins. This year, not so much. Yes, I’ve thought of things I want to focus on and financial goals but that’s it. SBrenee' planning has been minimal. Honestly, maybe that’s OK. I'm committed to being authentic with you all and currently I'm a creative mess. I’ve been a little clouded, exhausted, unmotivated and distracted.
I've have decided to clear the clutter by limiting distractions and focusing on the bare minimum for the remainder of the month. My plan for the month will be to have morning meditations and work outs, limiting the time I spend on social media (outside of my scheduled post, of course), focusing on being present in the moment and planning one to two weeks at a time versus my typical one month at a time(where applicable).
I’m hoping that deciding to focus on a shorter period of time will be the push/boost I need to get back on track and I'll be able to enjoy the “now”. Somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas I lost my stride, planned content didn't make sense with the current climate. I may or may not, have been in my feelings about the holidays not looking the way they typically would. YEA.... I was definitely in my feelings about that. However, it’s time to recalibrate and find my center.
So cheers to the new year, your personal goals and/or journeys! There’s no rule that says you have to start January 1st. So start when you’re ready and feeling up to it. Allow yourself to feel the feels and sit in them. Once you acknowledge them, it’s easier to move through it.
